“Wake up!”
… rings the happy dancing alarm clock.
Literally – as in we have to wake up and get out of bed every morning – or every afternoon for my bartender friends – whether we want to or not. So why not want to.
And figuratively, as in get it together. Figure it out. Today really is the first day of the rest of your life. Yesterday’s gone. It can’t be changed. There are no do-overs.
Yet everything’s changeable. While we can’t undo yesterday, we can fix today. We can do better tomorrow.
Health, wealth and happiness are all within our control.
We can eat better and exercise more. ‘They say’ it takes three weeks to change a habit. So three weeks from now doing the healthy thing could be your habit rather than the unhealthy thing. Do you really have to watch that much tv?
We can repair our relationships, or finally give up on the ones that can’t be fixed. Sometimes toxic people must be left behind. It’s not always easy and it’s not always fun but sometimes it is necessary. Maybe you’ll even see those people again down the road, having inspired them to success rather than allowing them to hold you back in fear and complacency.
We can quit our crappy jobs and make our own destinies. Even if you have to start on your destiny before you quit your crappy job, START! One small step at a time will get you far eventually. No steps will get you nowhere. Don’t condemn eventually just because it’s not today.
Think about an important event in your life that occurred a few months ago and how quickly the time since then has seemed to pass. A few months from now today will seem like yesterday.
How much could you accomplish by then instead of simply looking back and commenting on how fast the time flew by…
…and wishing you had started on your dream instead of simply continuing to dream it.
Stop planning to start. Just start. Make the mistakes. Make the progress.
Look back in a few months and wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.
Revel in your success. Then do some more.
Get to where you’re going even faster. Contribute exponentially. Change the world.
Wear it and share it as you Wake Up and pass it along to everyone you pass.

Are you Naughty or Nice?
Hey, what’s Santa doing checking his list already? Be careful out there all of you naughties. There’s still time to start raking in those nice points but you’d better hurry.
Being nice sounds easy, right? Common courtesy, etiquette, the formed expectations of social behavior wouldn’t seem to be that difficult. Yet so many of us have so much trouble managing it.
People used to help old ladies across the street. Now they get beaten up in parking lots.
When did a case of road rage ever end in a good way? I know that’s not how I learned it in driver’s education.
Does it really make that annoying person feel better to irritate her co-workers with stinky hand lotion or a cell phone chirping all day long? Could that person just as easily be courteous instead? Use the perfumed lotion at home. Turn the phone to silent.
Are we really so invested in sharing our individual bitterness or did we forget there’s another option. And that happiness is contagious.
Feeling bad? Here’s a crazy idea. Do something nice for someone else. It seems counter-intuitive but almost always true.
Smile at someone when you don’t feel like it. It might make their day better and it will definitely do wonders for yours.
Finding or making the ideal gift for the right person on that perfect occasion is such a thrill. The joy we receive from true giving is way bigger than whatever the gift may have been.
In the immortal words of Bill and Ted: be excellent to each other.
For all the nice people out there, thank you. Nice is better. Way better.
.And the best part is, Santa knows exactly where to find us. What list are you on?
Wear it and share it whether you’re Naughty or Nice and pass it along to everyone you pass.

just because i’m a princess… doesn’t mean i can’t kick your butt!
Not necessarily a royal princess; a figurative princess. And it’s not only girl-power, boys too if they fit the description.
Someone who stands apart in some way but at the end of the day is just like the rest of us.
Like a celebrity perhaps, who in the best circumstance truly has a charmed life. But even the rich and famous have bills to pay and hearts that get broken.
We’ve all heard the saying “don’t judge a book by its cover”. What you see is in fact not always what you get. Best behavior, first impressions, snap judgments and that all-too-important book cover can trick even the smartest among us.
More importantly, what you see in the mirror is not always all there is. What you get up and do every day is not necessarily all you are. Are you simply going through the motions? Or are you genuinely showing everyone out there everything they didn’t expect from you.
Strength is often found in the most unusual places, at times when you might least expect it. You do have it inside of you to be all you can be, to achieve all of your goals, contribute to the universe and be happy.
“just because i’m a princess… doesn’t mean i can’t kick your butt!”
Just because I’m physically smaller, doesn’t mean I won’t stick up for myself.
Just because I’m taken care of doesn’t mean I don’t have a voice.
Just because you have more money than me doesn’t mean I’m beneath you.
Just because your job is higher than mine on some doodle chart doesn’t mean I’ll tolerate disrespect.
Just because I have self-esteem doesn’t mean I’m a bitch.
Make up one of your own… then go share it with the world!!!
Wear and share your butt kicking princess attitude and pass it along to everyone you pass.

Move to Your Own Tune
Are you certain of exactly who you are, precisely who you want to be? Do you know what you want to contribute to the universe? Are you already on your way there? Are you already doing it? Then you know how to move to your own tune.
Don’t know yet? Is it as simple as a different job? Your label says you’re a secretary but in your heart you know you’re an inventor.
Perhaps a friend with the same dilemma simply needs to live somewhere else. Who and what surrounds a person can change his perspective, his confidence and creative redesign.
We’ve all heard the clichés: Be your own boss. Make you own rules. Live life on your own terms. Pursue your own dreams. Follow your own heart. But what if you don’t know what that is? Or how to do it?
What if you’ve even stopped trying to figure it out? Oh, you had good intentions. Then life happened. And suddenly you’re too busy to think about what you really want to be doing let alone actually pursuing it.
Ask yourself this question: If I suddenly fell into a few million dollars and didn’t have to have a job to earn a living, what would I do with my time? How would I spend my days? Who would I spend those days with?
Of course, we’d all give some to charity, pay off our bills and invest. Maybe we’d purchase a home for a special loved one and cars for our true friends. But then what?
The purchases are made and taxes paid, the vacations taken, trusts set up for children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. You’d have enough money left over that you wouldn’t have to have a dreaded J-O-B. But not so much you could vacation endlessly. Now what? What would you do with the rest of your life? What’s the mark you will leave when you leave? How would you move to your own tune?
Unlimited possibilities DO exist all around us. And we CAN make a difference. Opportunities compound once we start utilizing them. Obstacles only serve to make the goal worthwhile. If we can inspire ourselves to find our true identities, and share our unique talents, nothing can stand in our way.
Wear it and share it as you move to your own tune and pass it along to everyone you pass.

Wear it and Share it!
Doesn’t it feel great to walk down the street knowing the day of those you pass just got better?
Do you enjoy the hushed giggles and sly smiles that are barely and sometimes not contained until you pass by?
What about when a stranger shakes your hand and says you made his day?
Wear and share your favorite attitude and pass it on to everyone you pass!
Creative graphic design is everywhere – in magazines, on television, the Internet, even cell phone apps. The digital graphic artist can now share places that were previously the domain of hand drawn or painted art like that hung on walls or printed on t-shirts. Creative graphic design is now within reach for those of us with really great graphic design ideas but a lack of natural talent.
And thank goodness for computer graphic design software. From make-your-own business cards to elaborate fantasy pieces, these programs themselves are works of art. For those of us who can’t freehand draw to save our lives, graphic design software allows our abilities to join our imaginations. Make a mistake? No problem, just undo a few times and try again.
Now how would you like to wear your newly created digital graphic art? Do you want to share your designs with family and friends? How about opening an online store and offering your graphic design portfolio for sale on items and apparel?
So whether you’re an advertising company executive with the next ground breaking concept or a grandma at the kitchen table making personalized gifts, there’s a place for everyone and a platform to turn your imagination into a work of art.
